Abstract: Knowledge hiding in the workplace poses a significant challenge to organizational productivity and innovation. Knowledge hiding, an important organizational issue, has been linked to various negative outcomes. This study explores the antecedents, consequences, and mitigation strategies of knowledge hiding, drawing on qualitative analysis of secondary data. Findings indicate that knowledge hiding disrupts trust, collaboration, and efficiency while fostering a toxic work culture. Mitigation strategies, including fostering trust-based leadership, implementing equitable policies, and leveraging technology, are discussed. Future research should address the impact of emerging trends such as remote work and AI integration. Addressing knowledge hiding is critical for organizational resilience and sustained success.

Abstract: Background: The ergonomic suitability of classroom furniture plays a crucial role in students' comfort, posture, and overall musculoskeletal health. However, in many developing countries like Nigeria, school furniture often does not align with the anthropometric measurements of students, leading to discomfort and potential long-term health risks.

Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the mismatch between the anthropometric measurements of school children and the dimensions of classroom furniture in Lagos State, Nigeria. It also seeks to investigate the potential musculoskeletal implications of this mismatch on students’ health.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 164 students from public and private schools in Lagos State, aged 10-17 years. Multistage Sampling Technique with Simple Random Sampling used at each stage to select participants. Anthropometric measurements such as weight, stature, popliteal height, and elbow height (sitting) were taken using standard and appropriate instruments and also follow ISAK recommendation. Classroom furniture dimensions, including seat height, seat depth, and desk height were measured. The ergonomic fit of the furniture was assessed by comparing students’ body dimensions with furniture dimensions. Pain and discomfort were graded using a Visual Analog Scale (VAS).

Results: The study revealed significant mismatches between the students' anthropometric measurements and the classroom furniture dimensions, particularly in popliteal height vs. seat height, buttock-popliteal length vs. seat depth, and elbow height (sitting) vs. desk height. However, there are some furniture dimension which match the students’ anthropometry measurements. Furthermore, the outcome of pain for students’ varies across age groups and school category.

Conclusions: The findings highlight the urgent need for ergonomically designed classroom furniture that aligns with the anthropometric characteristics of Nigerian school children. Properly fitted furniture could reduce discomfort and prevent musculoskeletal issues, thereby promoting better health and learning outcomes. Policymakers and school authorities should prioritize adjustable or size-appropriate furniture to cater to the diverse needs of students.

Abstract: This paper delves into the complex relationship between sexuality, sexual needs, and sexual behaviour, emphasizing the various psychological, social, and biological factors that influence individual sexual experiences. It examines how sexual needs evolve over time, shaped by cultural norms, personal identity, and interpersonal relationships. The paper also explores the spectrum of sexual behaviours, highlighting both conventional and non-conventional practices, and their significance in fostering emotional and physical well-being.
In addition to understanding the diverse sexual expressions, this work addresses the impact of societal attitudes, gender roles, and sexual health on personal desires and relationships. It also considers the ethical considerations and challenges involved in navigating sexuality in a modern, globalized world. By critically analyzing sexuality from multiple perspectives, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive framework for understanding sexual behaviour and its implications on overall health and societal functioning.

Abstract: Kumbh Mela is one of the world’s largest religious gatherings, bringing together millions of devotees, saints, and tourists. This study explores its social impact, focusing on faith, tradition, and community. It examines how the event strengthens cultural values, promotes social harmony, and influences economic and environmental aspects.

The study follows a qualitative approach, analyzing historical records, participant observations, and interviews with pilgrims and organizers. It also reviews past studies on the social and cultural effects of Kumbh Mela. The findings reveal that Kumbh Mela plays a crucial role in preserving traditions, reinforcing collective faith, and fostering a sense of belonging among people from diverse backgrounds. It also boosts the local economy through tourism and temporary infrastructure development. However, it raises challenges related to crowd management, sanitation, and environmental concerns.

The study concludes that Kumbh Mela is more than a religious event; it is a symbol of unity and shared cultural heritage. Understanding its social impact helps in planning future events more efficiently. Further research can focus on sustainable practices to balance religious traditions with environmental conservation. This will ensure that Kumbh Mela continues to be a meaningful experience for future generations.
